where do i start peeling this sticker off which is on top right and also what is this small blue sticker on bottom

First time I saw this type of question. I do not intend to make fun but I also see some ppl do not remove their car seats polyethylene protection for years on years and sweat their bottoms out in scorching summer heat in the name of protection. I believe Sony service guys come for installation, wonder they have not informed this person about the blue sticker. Overall good purchase, Sony TV are very good and last for years.

They are wanting extended warranty perhaps. They do this all the time.

I can say you had bad 1st installation experience as for me both my Sony LED tv's were installed properly by service guys. I have also used sony CRT tv's (3 models) but that time there was no installation services, so it was DIY and learn from experience. Anyway it is always good to have experience (good and bad both). Just do not form some impression by this bad installation experience, your Tv will provide you good service and pleasure for years to come. Just set the colours properly and do not use standard or dynamic picture settings, put it on cinema and you will get soothing non eye damaging colours, same applies for sound setting preferable on cinema if watching movies, web series (ott). Learn from you tube, there are many videos available by Indian and abroad guys about best picture setting for sony/other tv's. All the best, nice choice of tv.

Congrats on the purchase, and wish you long, enjoyable watching that Sony Bravia is known for.

I was pleasantly surprised by your post. It seemed to come from an innocence that’s rarely found these days, especially online. I too wonder what that blue tack was for. Perhaps a part of the packaging that got stuck to the corner?

Our recent experience with installation of Sony TV was very positive. We’d bought it from Vijay Sales Mumbai and the installation person who came was knowledgeable as well as enterprising. When he realised we needed a telescopic mount due to the tight space, he ventured to get a very sturdy one from a source he knew (but requesting us to not reveal it to the company as it was beyond his job description). Don’t mind even if he made some money on it, it was the immediate solution that was valuable to us.

But i became successful in life at this age 34 and bought this very first tv with my hard earned money. So had no clue GENIUNELY INT HE END THIS BLU TAB DID NOT DO ANYTHING IT CAME OFF ONLY nothing else came off

Unfortunately. We have all become very lazy and over dependent on the Internet to answer simple questions.

The last TV I purchased (now 5 years ago), I checked if I could load the box into my car. It did fit. My wife helped me cart the TV into the house and also helped me unbox and install the TV. I could not wait two days for the installation engineer to show up. There are simple set up instruction that come with the TV that help you with this. You don't need some professional to install the TV and tell you how to peel of the sticker. After watching a lot of You Tube footage, I managed to mount the TV on the wall too.

I know of one guy who purchased a TV and waited 5 days for the "installation". After 5 days when the "installer" arrived, he found that installation meant unboxing the TV, attaching the stand and the hdmi cable. When asked about TV settings, he said that wasn't within the scope of installation. I think we've all just become ridiculously stupid.
