Which brand are you looking ?
Which Models?
What is your room size?
Are you looking at Blu-Ray?

Specification wise 60w with 8ohm looks powerful that 30w (4ohm)on paper as ideally 60w shld turn into around >100w for good amp.

Forget the use... and this answer will not answer your Q as to which is better.

Your question is about power. Bulldozers have power, more than many mercedes put together... but that doesnt help.

Distortion is what is the limiter. compare the THD of both at their rated power and you will know the difference.

About which is stronger or weaker, I dont know, and apart from the above explanation, you will have to get in touch with an electrical engineer....

Whether it delivers 60w at 8ohms, doesnt give the entire picture. It also depends on how much current it delivers to the speakers for those transients.
