Which is the Best external sound card for Edifier DA5000 Pro

I am about to get a DA 5000 Pro next week, I am a laptop owner (output is only head phone) I would like to get a good external sound card, to make it 5.1 for the speakers I am abt to purchase, any/all suggestions are welcome.
