Earlier people would pay for the Music...nowadays they download![]()
Like many people are saying .. it is generation gapand also I think people are not listening keenly as there are several other modes of entertainment, which might be distracting to the listeners.
In the good old days, we had only MTV or Chitrahaar to listen to the latest music and decide to buy the album if we liked any song. When we bought the cassette the feeling of investment was there and we proudly showed the cassette collection. It was a emotional investment in my opinion. Now most of the songs are downloaded for free or streamed for free on Youtube. If you haven't paid for the music, then I think the feeling is somewhat thin!
Among the modern lot, Sia sounded quite good to me
