Hey Guys,

As the thread title suggests will a Onkyo HTiB 3400 receiver will be able to do justice to a decent pair of BS like the Wharf Diamond 9.1 or 9.2. I am planning to put this in the second speaker option of the receiver and not replace it with fronts of the HTiB as I would be using this for *music only*.

If anybody had a chance of trying them do post. Not considering them to be used anywhere else in any other way in the near future. A rare possibility could be if I get a chance to pickup a Stereo amp for really cheap then maybe a dedicated music setup. But in that case they better be 9.2 and not 9.1.

Help me out here guys.

TIA

I am just in the process of pairing the Denon 1612 and the Wharfedale 9.1's
I heard this configuration with a Marantz and another Denon and they sounded absolutely fine when compared with other BS's as well in their price range.

Just my two cents.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
