Yamaha A810+Polk Audio RTi-A7

I happen to listen to this combination while I was auditioning.. and they are good.. (My Conclusion).

The place where I auditioned had 1 dedicated room which I didnt prefer as it does not resemble a normal untreated room. The One audition room 14 x 8 was Walled with a bit of Wood, pillars covered by wooden laminates and carpet floored and it sounded a little low on vocals mids were absorbed a little .. the next was with a room 15 x 18 Walled on Front and back with brick (I think) covered by AV equipment to the left was a Wooden wall with posted stuck and 2 doors and to the right a Glass wall which served for the window shoppers and crowd attraction (Pretty poor place for auditioning but I guess the wood lowers the reflection while the Glass wall feeds on them.) The speakers were a bit bright just like the Klipschs that I had auditioned but bought taking the glass wall in to consideration and they are not bright at all for my Hall of 30x18 and I live Happily ever after!! :D hope his helps

My advice is why dont you let your ears lead you in this matter..

I have NAD 356BEE & Polk RTi-A7 combo, later I also auditioned at Pro-FX Denon & Polk RTi-A7 Combo. Denon was just great with Polk. No, I never heard Yamaha-Polk combo, so can't comment about it. But one thing, I can tell now I am ready to sell my NAD 356BEE to get a Denon in my hunt to make a perfect combo.
