Your advise required about Videocon D2h

What is you opinion about Videocon D2h?

Is any one use this in Dubai?

Will the range of satellite cover Dubai?

videocon is good, have a lot of asli HD channels, even one 3D channel (still in test phase) but sound is only in 2.0 stereo

hiiii ashiq anyone in this forum told me that stars asli hd channel pack of 4 comes in dolby digital 5.1 but if only videocon d2h connected with a coaxial cable to your av receiver

I am not sure about Dubai coverage but the best part of it is service. Got very positive and prompt responses so far.

Yeah you need to connect through coaxial cable.
Earlier all the star channels and colours had the secondary 5.1 audio track,now i could see this only in star movies and star gold.

Videocon D2h is reasonably good but is fighting a tough battle with Dish TV and Tata Sky in particular.

Yeah that would suffice,even basic rca cable also would do.
I am using a cable which i was using earlier to connect my dish set top box to my plasma for video :lol:

you don't need to buy expensive coax cable.
