Hi!
I'm looking for decent 2.1 speakers for a small sized room. I prefer a natural rather than booming bass output.I need them mostly for music.
Could you suggest something within 2-3K?

It would be much better if I could get Bass control, I dont think they put treble control these days for speakers in this range but it would be amazing if i could still get it.

PS. Is there any decent replacement for the Altec Lansing VS2421?They are no longer in the market.

Thanks :)

i think u need not to spend that much amount as i have used a gud 2.1 (intex basic model price Rs. 1000 only, i hope u will like it
)

If you can spend a little more (3.5K) you can pick up a good 5.1 from Creative. I have Creative Inspire T6060 5.1 and its pretty good (just not audiophile). Even the Creative I-Trigue series is good.

Or else try to get a 2nd hand Altec Lansing MX 5021 (though it would be a lot more than 2K) but the sound quality is a lot better.

up the budget and you could get a really good setup for 15k .. under 3 k would not be suffice for audiophile quality imo
