Does anyone have prices of these components in Mumbai, India?

Are there any other options one can consider?

What about a Martin Logan Electro-Montion ESL / C2 / FX2 combo?

Is it advisable to use these electrostatic speakers in a dusty, humid climate like Mumbai?

Speakers: PSB Image T5 or T6 (Fronts), PSB Image C5 (Center) with PSB Image B4 or S5 (For Surround Duties) now add either PSB Sub Zero or Subsonic 5i as subwoofer to complete the setup which will do justice to all your mentioned requirements.

You can do an audition of this setup at Lakozy Audio Imagination, at their South mumbai showroom after an appointment.

I didl check PSB out. The Imagine was nice but pricey. Also I have eliminated the Dali Mentor and Ikon they too are outside the budget and their Lektor series HF response is not in the same league as the Ikon or Mentor (most obvious is a lack of air in the Lektor).

BTW what are the prices for these speakers in India. I am using US$ pricing as a guide.

B&W CM 8 / CM center / CM 1 / CM 5
Monitor RX 8 / RX center / RX FX / RX 2

My needs are now expanded. We are purchasing the following:

4 front tower speakers Q900 / RX8 etc..Rs. 1,00,000-1,20,000 pair
2 center speakers Q 600c / RX center etc...Rs. 30,000-35,000 each
2 monitors Q300 / RX2 etc...Rs. 20,000-30,000 pair
8 surrounds 800d / RX FX etc..Rs. 25,000-30,000 pair
----------
Total 4-5L

In addtion we will need 4 compact (about 1 cu. ft) powered subwoofers.

I called a friend and he said Tanny's Revolution series, PSB Imagine seriss and Dali's Ikon series can be got for about the same price as KEF/Monitor/B&W listed above.

That said my wife's order of preference as follows based on looks (important for her):

PSB Imagine
Monitor RX in wood
B&W CM (in rose wood)
Tannoy Revolution
KEF Q
Dali Ikon


Actually my taste lie somewhere with the Dali Mentor, Tannoy Definition, PSB Synchrony, B&W 800 series, Monitor Gold, KEF Reference etc..but I gess that is all of us. Our tastes far exceed our pocket.
