25k avr

hello, couple of my collegues are looking to get a budget HT.

so what are the options for a avr under 25k?

i recently had been to the jbl showroom in forum mall, koramangla in bangalore and there they had two harmon kardon receivers for 15k and 25k. any idea how good they are?

what are the other options in that price range?

Entry level AVRs from companies such as Denon (1911), Yamaha, and Onkyo are in the 30K bracket. I hope your friends have budgeted for speakers, cabling etc.

At the price bracket Onkyo 3300 htib is decent.

Coming to AVR alone - Denon 1611....

Onkyo 309, Denon 1311, Denon 1611 etc can be considered

The Pioneer VSX 520 , Hard to beat at that price. Heard it in my friends place and it sounds very good.
