Hi I need suggestion on choosing a 3.5mm to 2 x RCA cable. This is for my computer to stereo amplifier connection.

I have found Bandridge cables on Flipkart and Choseal cable on Ebay within my budget of 1K.

Are these good? Any other suggestion?

I have compared some of those cables at various price points and found Choseal and Prolink to be best sounding among the cheap ones I had. Don't remember which exact model from Choseal and Prolink, but converted to Indian rupee they were both under or around 1K.

i suggest you award winning QED cable (red coloured) .. forgot exact model no. you can search it from what hifi website..

i used several cables , and i liked to use QED.. but remember this RCA plug is bit tight for my terminals..

otherwise great for use..

Hi

Monster Cables are supposed to be the best..claim lifetime warranty and replacement. The Indian version would be MX which is also good. Other brands like Belkin etc are good. Performance is all the same...you need to see the wire quality...the more fatter / thicker it is the better the signal..brand is irrespective. See what fits your budget and appeals to you. Remember the golden rule, longer the cable requirement, thicker it should be.

Hope this helps

So Monster cables like to tell us. There is more to buying than just the item itself. Please google, and then decide if you want to be a monster customer or not. Please see consumer-issues sites, not just hifi sites.

Now, to the required cable... the headphone output of a portable device is going to fairly limited (which is the reason why people buy DACs instead) and I would suggest that amount spent on any cable to connect it should also be limited. It is just not going to be worth paying more. MX sounds like an appropriate suggestion.
