3d via media player

Can we play 3d downloaded content through WD live media player. I do have the option of viewing it on 3d Sony as well as a Sammy LED TV.

I think you can only do SideBySide or TopNBottom on WD Live. No frame packed 3d.

Hey what's 'sidebyside' and 'topNbottom' Never heard these terms, neither the term "Frame packed 3D" . Pls elaborate.
