Hello,

Here is my design of Microcontroller based 4 channel input selector.
brain of this kit is 89C52, which is programmed for LCD interface, front panel with button and LED's it supports PSU signaling for Standby and Active mode.
After power on it goes to "Standby" mode, on press on button it goes into "Active" mode & prompts for channel selection, upon press of button it changes channel, same is displayed in LCD.

Front panel button and LED:
Two buttons for Power on an other for Channel Select.
Two LED , Power on off LED and Button press response LED with option for buzzer (5 volts beeper) on board.
Individual switching of each channel using 3 pole 2 way relays.

Sechmatic and PCB Layout shared.

Thank you
Sudheer

Recently I made a pre amp panel for mounting similar source selector

Great work, Bibin - your woodwork is very precise, both drilling and countersinking are very tight, and the rectangular slot is also perfect. It will look even more brilliant after light sanding/polishing.

I tried something similar on a small teak panel for a PCM2704 DAC (Feixiang FX-98s), but messed up the countersinking for the knobs - several of the circles are off-centre and elliptical, but I'm still in kindergarten and learning :-).

It finally turned out barely OK after applying Sheenlac wood polish - the industro-tech theme with turned aluminium knobs and stainless-steel allen bolts contrasts nicely with the old-world polished teak bezel with prominent wood grains.

Thanks also to Rohitmusic for his pics of a wood front panel for a Pass B1 build, which inspired me to try a similar theme on a smaller scale.

I'm not a great fan of wood for the sake of it on an otherwise not-wood cabinet, but still, both examples here are very good looking. Bibin's is amazingly professional, and Linuxguru's is amazing for kindergarten! :D
