A budget AVR around 35k (or $700 from US)

Thanks for input.When you google,many times useful sites can be missed.
With this site,if you calculate the price of Den1910,it comes around 20k(+shipping?) & here one can get for 24k with warrenty.
110 AVR comes around 16k + step down 2.5k.

I am sure he meant 1610, in which case, comparison with the US pricing is less attractive. I find US dirt cheap for everything except services those include manual labor. I bought few Levis jeans on this trip for $30 each. The same are selling here for Rs 2500. And then at times you can get awesome deals in the US :sad:

Yes,I am sorry to type wrongly.
1910 can be available for 34k as lowest & 36k in most of the shops.
But one can get Demo piece for 28k(if bargined properly)

Wonder why nobody is taking about customs? Its atleast 18 % of bill value. Is that not applicable when friends bring new items from US?
