Thanks. I wasn't aware that Raghu was dealing with Sonus Faber. Just spoke to him and he was suggesting me the same. May spend some time at Decibel this week. Mmmmmm...

I had left this thread to lurk for quite sometime.

My search went like this..
a) Sonus Faber Liuto Floor standers- Parasound Combo. :- Beautiful to hear and to listen. Those mid tones still linger in my ears. But unfortunately those were well beyond my budget and also the stand mounts weren't available for demo.
b) ATC SCM 11 - Cary Combo :- Lived up to their reputation. Clinical sound. But not quite forgiving. Bad recordings would be thrown out.
c) Thiel CS1.6 - Bryston :-Excellent partneing. But mot that exciting atleast for me....kindaa laid back.
d) Monitor Audio GS 10 - Musical Fidelity :- There it was my kind of sound. Enthustiastic, exciting enough for me.

And finally here is my setup.
Audiolab 8200 CD - Marantz PM 7004 (As Pre) - Musical Fidelity A5 cr (Power) - Monitor Audio GS 10

Now I am thinking about moving out the Marantz and replacing it with a proper,matching pre amp. Can the experts pitch in?
