The first Rafi song I remember hearing and being struck by the sweetness of the golden voice - suhani raat from Dulari - at the age of 21 on Door darshan in Jammu, where I was working at that time. I didn't understand the lyrics but the voice held me spellbound.

Writing about Rafi evokes nostalgic memories of those days!!
