Need suggestion on Subwoofer
Hi,
I have an Onkyo tx-Sr806 AVR and Wharfedale Diamond 8.3 Front speakers. For the center and surrounds I am planning to use the Yamaha NS-P60 Center and Surround package ( I know that this does not fit this package, but have to live with this set due to budget constraints).
The room size is 12 x 14 ft.
I am in the market looking for a sub woofer. I am interested in down firing models since I am afraid that my kids will spoil the driver.
Auditioned the following SW.
Jamo Sub 200/250 and 300 (all three has loud sounding bass but not easy on the ears)
Energy ESW-10
Elac Sub 50 ESP
And I liked the ELAC one. But there are not many reviews present for the ELAC sub woofer. I would like to get the opinion of the forum on the energy and ELAC models. Also if you can recommend any other model, I will be happy to audition those too.
