can anyone tell me how good the AE Aegis Neo 3 or the newer V2 models are?

and what would be a fair price to spend for them?

Jairus, I have heard them in a stereo set up and found them to be quite good with good imaging, separation and a slightly warm, dark tone( which might be a function of the electronics, an arcam amp and cdp iirc)They used to go for around 40k brand new.
