I have a dedicated HT room. 14 x 11 concrete room. Any one around Pune who can help me with advice on improving the sound

Hi Raj,

Can you post more details about your room, like present placement of speakers, listening position, doors, windows etc and also what the height of the room..

The room size is
14 x 11
Heigth - 11 ft

It is a rectangular room with no windows and just a wooden door which i specifically use for watching movies or listening to music

AV Receiver - Yamaha A2010
Front Speaker - Polk Rti 8
Center Polk
Rear - Polk

Projector - Panasonic AE -4000U

Before you go any further, the first thing i would suggest is to add a exhaust fan - maybe one with a duct. Windowless rooms become moist and humid and results in growth of mold. You need a ventilation system. This will become apparent after you do the acoustic treatment as mold can settle on the panels, carpets etc.
Also, you seem to have a nice setup - pls do post on the forum often.

For placements, probably this might help.

For absorbers, I might go for 4" glasswool sheet (32 density)
For bass traps, I might go for 4" rockwool sheet (48 density)

Thanks

Thanks Sash - It is an air conditioned room so I ensure that it has proper air circulation.
