Nice meeting a qualified acoustic engineer .

To bring up a topic that was being discussed elsewhere. What sound absorbent would you recommend for use in a loudspeaker enclosure and what would be suitable for use as wall paneling at home. Most people want to avoid fiber glass.

Apart from dedicated manufactured material , would you suggest commonly available materials ? We've been looking at ployfill used in pillows. Can we get BAF in the local market ? It's coarser than polyfill and comes in sheets or roll , like fiberglass.
