Adding under-the-seat car subwoofer

Its got RJ11 connector for remote control?
Yes.
Hi Capt. congratulations, do let us know how it sounds..
Sure buddy.
please play a low frequency tone at high volume to see that the dented grille does not touch the cone at high excursion. that's the only worry. otherwise its going under the seat, right?

hope you enjoy your commute a whole lot more with this.

my own experience is what whenever I had music on in a traffic filled commute, I would reach home later than without music. but because I took the long route home, I simply drove slower and more "passively" But I did arrive in a much much better mood.
That's precisely my worry too. Tried to open by unscrewing the four screws but it doesn't open. Tried to prise it open but to no avail. So trying to source a crooked needle so that I'll weave several threads at the centre of the dent and pull the grill back.

thats a good idea. or a curved semi circular needle like those used by upholstery tailors

Found jugaad in my knick knacks bin:

A steel wire which I had bent it like semi-circular needle; it's also the thread.

I had to pull up at three places. The final result:

H r an underseat subwoofer, that's not bad I guess.
