Advice needed on upgrades to my speaker cables

Hi guys

Just checked my speaker cables that I’m using to connect my Monitor Audio Bronze 6’s and Bronze Centre to my Denon AVR, I must have had these years‍ see picture of my current cable

I’ve now upgraded my floorstanders and centre speaker to the new Bronze 500 floorstanders and Bronze C150 Centre (they arrive next week)
So I’m thinking it’s definitely time to get 3 metres per side of the “better stuff” what cable upgrade would you recommend and does cable actually make a huge difference, what would I notice after upgrading or is it a complete marketing scam to waste lots more money ?

In a nutshell, expensive cables are snake oil. Amazon Basics cables of appropriate gauge should be more than sufficient.

Coming to cables. Very subjective topic (sometimes very heated debates happen in this area )
Thumb rule:
- get good quality copper
- get thick guage (as per your budget)

I can’t find info on what gauge my current cable is? It’s flat ‍ What gauge should I be wanting and I guess I’d better have banana plugs at each end as currently I only have them on one end of my cables going into the back of my AVR and then bare wire going into back of speaker
