Advice on a hd camcorder (clueless)

well my title says it all i am clueless on what hd camcorder to buy my usage scenario is mainly indoors,some outdoor and night time shots and i also need a good still quality can anyone advice me on what models i should be looking at my neice's Christening is this sunday the faster your help the better my budget is a maxed out at 30k helllllp.
