I have a Sony GRX-9000 and the main console has been giving me troubles.

I would like to use the speakers without the main unit, and i need advice on what amp do i need to power it.
I'm unable to appreciate music to a fine degree so i'm not looking for the best product out there, rather a relatively economical solution which'll allow me to use my speakers properly.

The specs for the speakers as per the manual are:
SS-GRX9000 for MHC-GRX9000
Speaker system 3-way, 5-unit,
bass-reflex type
Speaker units
Woofer: 15 cm, cone type x2
Center Tweeter: 5 cm, cone type
Side Tweeter: 5 cm, cone type x2
Nominal impedance 8 ohms
Dimensions (w/h/d) Approx. 250 x 430 x 355
mm
Mass Approx. 7.5 kg net per speaker

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
