Advise tower Spks For Yamaha RX467

Hi, need to get tower speakers for my RX467, currently they power the Denon 5.1 HT which are not so very good, need some good advise on which speakers to get. My room is about 500sq feet in size.

yamaha NS555 - Approx 35K MRP Delhi.. Bit boomy.. did not like them.. were paired with Yamaha A-S300 when auditioned..
jamo S606 - Heard them n did not like them.. They were paired with Marantz when auditioned..
Heard good reviews about Wharfdale..

Will you be adding speakers later to make 5.1 or 7.1 setup?

Well a budget of 15 to 30k

You can get Wharfedale 9.5, MS Carnival 6, MS Carnival 8, Yamaha 8930, Jamo 606 (after heavy negotiation or on discount from reliance digital), Mission M34i, Mission M35i.

Polk TSi300, TSi400 (I think so).

Since your room is quite BIG, I will discount all the tower speakers with anything lower than 6.5" driver, concentrate on Wharfedale 9.5, Mission M35i, Jamo 606, MS Carnival 8 and Polk TSi400.

Rest you have a good list available and auditions are your calling, time to hit the dirt track. All the best...

Try look for preowned/demo polk RTI A5/A7 or KEF IQ30/50 , if you like the sound of missions , m35i is the best bet. It can fill your room well.
