Almost all HD channels in Airtel HD freezes momentarily and sometimes just goes out blank. Strangely this happens between 7 p.m and 10 p.m. IST. Star movies and Movies Now are the worst affected as they just move frame by frame or sometime just freezes does not move to the next frame for a long time. However, all the SD channels work without any problem during this time including the SD version of Star movies and Movies Now. I had this observed for more than 10 days and it happens without fail during this time from 7 p.m to 10 p.m. What might be the problem? Any one facing this problem with Airtel HD?

What is the signal strength at the time of freezing ?. May be caused due to small mis alignment of the dish.

Ok. I shall ask Airtel to check STB. It might not be a good time to make a complaint now as it has been raining in Chennai as a storm is set to cross over. While I mentioned about rain it just came to my mind that some of the channels are not affected by rain and I am able to view them clearly even during moderate rain (like Star plus and some regional channels like Sun TV, Vijay TV etc..) How is that these channels are not affected by rain and other channels just disappear even when there is a slight drizzle.
