Airtel knows how to earn customers money

I am having a bad time with the customer service of Airtel DTH. 4 days before i am not able to get signal at all from the set top box. I made a complaint via phone they also informed me that the engineer will come to my place and solve the problem at that time we need to give him a service charge of 100 rs. I accepted and he came here to solve it . He plugged in and out the HDMI cable and got 100 rs and went. Yesterday night again the same problem occured and till now there is no signal in the box giving an error code: B001:mad: ( bad signal error).

I gain now called the customer care raised a complaint regarding this issue.
They replied like this " An engineer will come and will solve the problem Rs 100 will be charged. In case of replacing a set top box Rs 300 will be charged":mad:

I got frustrated by this reply:mad: Y I need to pay like this they replied me that " The problem is in my end " If signal problem occurs then problem is in my end. So if signal problem occurs every week I make a complaint they will eat my money like anything. I am not as wealthy to spend money like this.

An electronic equipment has a minimum warranty of an year. I am using STB for around 7 months. From here I am going to stop using airtel HD service. I recommend others not to go for AIRTEL STB

They are f****kers They dont no the value of customers. :mad::mad::mad:
 
I can vouch for the bad customer service of Airtel after using their Broadband internet service.
I have a 2Mbps unlimited internet connection with FUP of 10GB. I keep a track of my internet usage in my account in their website and it doesn't crosses 6GB with heavy usage. But by about 20th of every month I start to get this popup saying that my FUP has exceeded and now I need to buy extra speed from them. And till then the speed will become 256kbps. I have been raising this issue continuosly for many along with the appropriate usage evidence from their website, but so far my complaints are being unheed of. I feel I am now trapped in their pathetic service.
 
Its not Bad in Mumbai as I received a call within 48 hr & person visited home by apointment.
 
I use airtel mobile prepaid. After every call i get an alert that i made a call of so many seconds and so much amount has been deducted. Invariably there is a 10 to 20% error since i am on a paisa per second plan.
On the other hand they have a nice data plan 2gb for 98 bucks.

in bsnl u will never get gud speed and no one wil come to u if any complain

I agree on the second part, however BSNL usually give committed bandwidth and hence speed is not an issue unless some technical glitch.

I love BSNL night unlimited plans which do not have any BS FUP! I download 50GB plus during 2AM and 8AM and still pay about Rs.660 for 2mbps speed 2.5GB day usage and night unlimited. I also get Rs.250 worth of free calls and all India calls to any landline are charged at Rs.1 per 3 mins.

Similarly I use BSNL for 3G services. I get around 2 to 4Mbps connectivity (though its inconsistent as there is no committed bandwidth especially around peak hours). And I pay just about Rs.1100 for it. Infact during Diwali I had paid Rs.4200 (Rs.700 per month including taxes) for 6 months UNLIMITED 3G without any FUP! I also get 50p per minute calls across India without any additional rentals. So again, its cheapest among other 3G providers.
