I am having a bad time with the customer service of Airtel DTH. 4 days before i am not able to get signal at all from the set top box. I made a complaint via phone they also informed me that the engineer will come to my place and solve the problem at that time we need to give him a service charge of 100 rs. I accepted and he came here to solve it . He plugged in and out the HDMI cable and got 100 rs and went. Yesterday night again the same problem occured and till now there is no signal in the box giving an error code: B001
( bad signal error).
I gain now called the customer care raised a complaint regarding this issue.
They replied like this " An engineer will come and will solve the problem Rs 100 will be charged. In case of replacing a set top box Rs 300 will be charged"
I got frustrated by this reply
Y I need to pay like this they replied me that " The problem is in my end " If signal problem occurs then problem is in my end. So if signal problem occurs every week I make a complaint they will eat my money like anything. I am not as wealthy to spend money like this.
An electronic equipment has a minimum warranty of an year. I am using STB for around 7 months. From here I am going to stop using airtel HD service. I recommend others not to go for AIRTEL STB
