alterantes to Marantz SR6004

I am looking for a 5.1/6.1 channel AVR. One option I have considered is the Maratnz SR 6004 the other (not available as easily) is the Rotel RSX 1550.

Are there any other options that can be considered. NAD for example?

The Speakers are being DIYed by me using drivers from SB Acoustics, 18 sound, LCY or B&G.

Hi Navin,

You have not mentioned if you are going to use the AVR only for movies or will it also be used for music (if you do not have a separate stereo setup). And what is your maximum budget for the AVR?
