Amplifier for PMC db1 Gold standmounters

I have recently auditioned PMC db1 Gold standmounters. They are absolutely brilliant with all round tonality and timbre. I have not heard anything closer to their sound at that price range. Ofcourse, being bookshelves, the bass was not deep. But absolutely exhilarating.

I am looking for suggestions for an integrating amp for that.

I demoed with Cyrus Lyric and Peachtree Audio Nova. Cyrus was great but above my budget. Even Peachtree Nova delivered neutral sound.

Any other suggestions for amp? or even for speakers?

Please look for Bryston amplifiers. Bryston will be a nice set up with PMC Speakers.

If you really loved it with Cyrus, and you can stretch yourself, go for it. This expense today can save you years of internet gazing later!

It is not the speaker alone, but the entire system and your preferences. If you found magic, don't let go unless you are absolutely dead sure you can't spend that money.

Just make sure that you can get good service locally.

+1 for Bryston. Very detailed amps.
What about tubes? If you're low on budget Look into Yaquin. Chinese, but still make decent stuff for the price.

+1...otherwise buy speakers...lug them to audition with different amps..

im not sure but the importer of those speakers had an artos integrated amp and cdp that he was gonna let go of

i have heard the said speakers with the artora combination
it works well
very well

i have heard it with a naim too
but not in conducive environment
but i do know the distributor of PMC believes naim is an excellent match as well

hell ive heard them with a NAD as well
and they were good too
