It's my 10th year as a card-carrying maniac audiophile. I thought I would pen some posts about it, but as usual when I started writing, the words kept flowing and things got too long, so I started a substack: https://audiofool.substack.com/

I inaugurated it with an old (and my most popular blog post) as an intro post. Will be posting more soon. Please do take a read when you get a chance and would love your comments and feedback. Cheers!

Loved the part where your paycheck appeared too small when you walked into the HiFi store...that is so true for anyone starting digging deeper into this business. The way I have set up my system currently to listen to streaming media, it is like Digital Music in ICU kind of situation. It just does not sound best without life support system.

@essrand So well written , worthy of publication in one of those magazines that are sold in sealed covers. Describes the journey for most of us!

Very Well Written, TFS!
This Conclusion made my day, which I agree wholeheartedly...

I know my system is lacking. I know a change is gonna come, yes, it will. But for now, I couldn’t be bothered. I am too busy listening again and again...

Excellent writing Bhaskar.

Every audio(phile)fool, rich or poor has his own journey. Wish you continue on yours (us too). 😁

Nice read. Experience is always gained by getting your hands dirty and NOT by reading books or on the internet. I would say time and money well spent in gaining Experience which is priceless.

Great read Bhaskar. Just like you have mentioned, this album has also been the cornerstone in my musical journey.

Great stuff Bhaskar! You address an issue with our hobby that needs more discussion.
Too many times we get caught up in the gear and it is a serious issue with the cost of gear these days.

Looking forward to the next article!
