anthem mrx310

Yogibear...it's true for most cases that separates would sound better n there would be very few exceptions to that...the top end models of Arcam n anthem might be those few exceptions...also remember the price which typically shoots up when you looking at high end pre pro models...it all depends what one is looking for

Dear Sidvee,

Please go thru my following threads. Anthem is a clear winner and more than one dozen people have changed to anthem on my recommendation and are extremely happy as their speakers and sub have got new lease of life.

In fact very recently I had built up a HT setup for one of my dear friend with the following config

Anthem MRX 700 Receiver, Speakers B&W CT 7.3 LCR, B&W CT 7.5 SURR & SURR Back, B&W CT SW10 2nos and SA1000 Sub Amp, Epson 8100 & 150" fixed frame screen.

The room size is 21' x 28' I was really skeptical with regard to the sizing of the Amp and my friend has fully trusted my suggestion and gone for the above package setting aside all of stalwart's suggestions in this field, but even to my surprise the set up had come out very well and unbelievable.

with regard to your question about center speaker off axis performance its phenomenal you have to hear it to believe it.

I did had Arcam AVR 600 receiver and AVP 888 processor in my setup they are good though, but no way near to Anthem. The clear winning point of Anthem is the ARC. You will not go wrong if you choose MRX 310 for your room size.

Thanks PM me incase you need any further details on this.
