I'm recently into western classical music and wondering what store I can get good single-track downloads from (not flac or anything but mp3s with good bitrate). I don't want whole albums as I'm picky about what I like listening to and it would be a waste. I heard of "iTunes" but not sure if they are in India and I use an FOSS operating system and don't want to be locked into drm stuff. I tried searching in Flipkart (they said one track is re. 6? that sounds excitingly cheap) but they've shut down their music store and I'm not sure they had western classical to begin with. There are some tracks listed on Nokia Ovi store that I would like to have but they don't list any prices and it tells me I need a Nokia phone to access, which I don't have. Where can I get reasonably priced stuff? Any music stores at all? All I'm finding is vendor lock-in and crap.
