Anyone know where I can get a cheap 10m Toslink cable

The cheapest I could find was about Rs 2,500 on the net where it was on sale from Rs 4.000! They can be had for $12 to 15 in the US, so was wondering if there was a cheap source that someone was aware of please. Thanks!

Ur best bet would be S.P. Road Bangalore. A lot of shops for all kinds of cables for this purpose.

10m is quite long for a toslink cable. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with it being too cheap.

I don't remember the length of the ones I used, a decade or so ago, to connect my pc to digital devices on the hifi stack. Maybe 5m or less. I do remember that, at that time, it was quite hard to find them, and that they cost more than I wanted to pay.

I would happily buy the bluerigger cable but unfortunately they don't ship to India. It is a bit too bulky to ask a kind and willing FM going to the States to lug back for me....

In that case just pass on the URL of the item to ishopinternational and get a quote. It won't be expensive I guess. I bought blue rigger hdmi cable 35 ft from amazon through them. It was hassle free and economical also.

At lamington road Mumbai there are few Road side vendors who sell toslink and glass fibre cables, I bought a glass fibre one Rs 250/- for Meter long, if u venture inside the shyamrao vithal bank street, u can get it custom made as per your needs

I purchased MX 5m toslink about 4 years back for about Rs. 800 from their store in Hyderabad. However, toslink is very fragile, especially for large distance distance, so try to go for coaxial or HDMI if you can.
