APC ups popular model for hifi

I have the RT 2000 smartups ( online) which I picked up 2 years ago.

This is not available in India now.

A friend is in the market looking for a 1.5 or 2kva model. What is the equivalent in the market today ?

Look at Emerson Leibert or Eaton. There are some favourable opinions of both on the forum.
