Hai,
I am Gnana Sekhar and I am planning to buy an Arcam DV139 for pure 2 channel music. I am going to use it for Musical DVDs and musical cds and not for movies. All I have to know is whether it will give the quality of an entry level dedicated cd players from Marantz or Arcam. Please give me your valuable opinions.
Thanking you,

Hi , Using a DVD Player for a 2 channel is not a good idea, A dedicated CDP will always outperform a DVD Player any day. Try to get hold of Marantz or Arcam mid level CDPs and BTW whats your associated equipment.

I guess he's looking at something that would help him watch the music/concert DVD's too. From what I read from the reviews in the forum, the Cambridge Universal player may not be a bad option at all...

Yes, I am going to use it for watching music CDs & Concert DVDs.
My associated equipments are Musical Fidelity A5 amp and Dynaudio Audience-70 Speakers.

Wharfedale Linton Heritage Speakers in Red Mahogany finish at a Special Offer Price. BUY now before the price increase.
