Arcam rDAC

I want to purchase Arcam rDAC. I am based in bangalore.


The best quotes that I could get was around 24K landed price either through Amazon or divine audio uk (though with divine audio thr is risk on import duty on top of this price).

Some other threads in here says its available in Bangalore at 28K.

Is there a better price available for this...Landed Price in Bangalore?

They deal in Arcam DAC, but it is not in stock as of now. They said its expected by month end.

I am looking to audition the DAC and see what degree of difference does it bring to my current chain of equipment. So it is not something I am looking to lock down in the next month or so Any time beyond that and with an agreeable difference to SQ, I am game!

hey Kittu, Thanks for the link. But I have already gone thru and did PM Ravi.. but no response, So I had to assume its been sold off.

Unfortunately, Absolute Phase - Dealer in Bangalore - has no stock, not even the demo piece.

BTW, any HFV member in bangalore who can loan me this dac for a hearing????

I think our FM reignofchaos has a Peter Daniels DAC for sale for an amount very close to your budget. From what I've read, the Peter Daniels DAC is likely to sound far superior to the Arcam rDAC.

Since he's also in Bangalore, you might be able to get an audition at his place.
