Hi guys

Researchers and psychologists studied human behavior for about 80-100 years and they found two types of human personalities. They are as follows,

Type A :

- ambitious
- always wants the best
- very competitive, always strives for no 1
- short-tempered
- quick decisive/ impulsive
- Multi-tasking, does multiple things at a time
- revengeful, vindictive
- time urgency, impatience
- foot tapping, cant wait in a queue
- disguised or polite hostility/agression
Take a Type A personality Quiz/ test

Well , type B is exactly opposite of above :

- laid back
- easy going
- never counts the wealth/position he can attain
- forgiving
- not always goal oriented
- does not play to win always

So , most of us have some characteristics from type A and some from type B.

The classification has potential health and longevity implications that can be googled if needed.

Would you say your Boss/ CEO /MD is type A ??

Well, such persons are also needed to drive a company/country etc.. but within limits.

Type B :

- easy going
- never counts the wealth/position he can attain
- forgiving too
- does not play to win always

The above combo is a true representation of ME

I am .....
Type A :

- ambitious
- very competitive, always strives for no 1
- short-tempered
- time urgency, impatience
- foot tapping, cant wait in a queue
- disguised or polite hostility/agression

But not..
- always wants the best
- quick decisive/ impulsive
- Multi-tasking, does multiple things at a time
- revengeful, vindictive

:D, here are my results of d test :-

"You appear to have many Type A personality traits, and could probably greatly benefit from the resources below. By working to eliminate some of the stress in your life and challenging some of your habitual patterns of thought and reaction to stress (see the resources below), you can really improve your overall stress level and may be able to significantly soften your Type A tendencies."

madbullram = type A

Hehe! This is what I've got -

"Did you just take this quiz to gloat? Seriously, you seem to have very few Type A features, so good for you! Give yourself a pat on the back, and you can still learn about how to deal with Type A people in your life by reading the resources below."

:)

Anyways, looking at the feature list I would say I am a mix of,

Type A - always wants the best
Type B - <all>

Got the same for myself - Seems most people will get this

Well, another part of type A personality :
collecting things to extreme
( in our case it can be hifi things)

Dont we get a high in pursuing and purchasing those costly electronic items ?

And there are people who wont know A of Apple or B of bryston ..

Many type A persons are gadget-aficionados / gadget crazy (not necessarily always and vice versa)

But what is difference between hobby, "addiction" or time(and money) consuming activity ?

But what is difference between hobby, "addiction" ?

that distinction takes just a moment to lay bare (the core)-

like this -

" you have been married recently (hopefully - to a girl you feel you owe your {otherwise inconsequential life to} ).

you have successfully consummated the marriage - and result is pregnancy - and the wife starts vomiting - does not eat - is ill! -

the family wants you to consult the family doctor - (to save the daughter from certain death)- immediately!

and then you get a call from a forum member - and you talk for 45 minutes about the advantage of using a particular loudspeaker over another -

WHILE ALL AROUND YOU ARE DESPAIRING!

THAT IS ADDICTION!

regds suri

I dont think it is meaningful!
Nobody can be type A or Type B. It is a mix of those two which makes you.
