I own denon 1612 and I followed the procedure of audessey auto set up.after the setup it showed the eq for only the 5 chennels.only the subwoofer gain went down to -12db.the equalizing starts from 60hz.
My doubt is
will audessey multi eq equalize the low frequencies for the subwoofer or just the satelites.

It will do for SW too, perhaps SW level/volume is high, try reducing on SW & take reading again.

audessey is really helpfull for room correction.also the dynamic volume and dynamic eq helps the sound fuller in low volumes.

bro I early mentioned about my package.
sonodyne 1501,c2401,yamaha ns e55 and roarr 210+denon 1612
I took the decision of buying this package after a lots of auditions of different kind of brands including sonodyne.
I watched movies and music in direct mode and in dsp modes.there is a significant difference when using dsp modes.
audessey eq is very helpfull when I listen to music and movies.you can simply feel the difference when watching movies and music in low volumes and high volumes.
audessey also hepls to reduce distortion.
are you planning to buy an avr

Yes, i have zeroed down denon 1612. But availability seems limited, and dealers are pushing 1713, which i didn't like much, because.

It doesn't have pre out of surraound L and right for back speakers.

but on the other hand i really some time wonder that aren't these speakers thing of 30 k, 40 k, 50 k too much, and hence leave me undecided about speakers.

i will find some weekends for auditions.

by the way where you are based?
