I'm a total dunderhead when it comes to audio tech. Didn't know what an AVR was until a month ago. Anyway, need to build a HT for around 70k. Most of the time, the source is my PS3. Say, 30% music/70% movies or games. Living room is around 15x12 sq feet.
Did a bit of research over AVR. Basically looking for 7.1 support, and DTS-HD master decoding. Right now looking at Denon-1311/1611 or Yamaha RX-V567. Are there any other options worth considering around the 25k range?
And when it comes to speakers, I truly have absolutely no idea. Not a DIYer, so looking for a complete 5.1 package. What options do I have in the 30-40k range? If it helps, I'm not a bass-junkie; prefer natural and balanced sound.
