Audioengine AS8 Subwoofer repair

My trusty (maybe not so much..) Audioengine AS8 recently seems to have died on me.It was bought from Home - BAJAAO - Buy and Review Musical Instruments and Pro Audio Equipment in India on 25 July 2010 .

The green power light comes on when the subwoofer is switched on - it is supposed to be red when there is no signal

I have raised a query on the website about repairing the subwoofer but I was wondering if there was somebody in Hyderabad/Secunderabad who could help me get it repaired locally.

Contacted bajaao.com via their support ticket system online and they asked me to send the subwoofer back to them in Mumbai.They have promised me a replacement ,hope it's not refurbished.
Sent it on 09 Aug 2011 - waiting....

until and unless you get a working unit back you should be fine, good to see decent service from bajaao

Sorry to bring up an old thread but my S8 is having the same issue. Did you get it fixed?

I was able to get a replacement as the product was within warranty
