Cheers,
Sid

The processors this chipset supports are discontinued. This is a 9th gen board. Intel is currently on 12th gen and is launching 13th gen in the next month or so

With such pricing what was stopping them from using atleast gen 12 boards which would also support ddr5.

I am very sure they would have done some critical modifications to improve the audio part being used as a server (electric nosie, emi, etc etc) but then why go with gen 9 boards

When a small Audio manufacturer tries to go head to head with large conglomerates, there is no way they can have the latest and greatest. First the royalty payment will perhaps will be huge, beyond the capability of the small guy, and secondly the pricing will all also be prohibitive. Hence they will always lag behind, and perhaps use flowery marketing jargon to try and market older versions to gullible people reinforced by reviewers who will say things like what I wrote in above post.
Cheers,
Sid
