Respectfull salute to everyone.
I bought a MARANTZ Receiver 5015 months ago. I've tried connecting a Pioneer PLX500 Turntable to the inputs of PHONO made the right switch but seem not hear but only the right channel and not as loud as I wish,,, Any suggetion of what I could be missing...??? Doesn't my receiver have the pre-amp feature...????

Looks the back of SR5015, its have built in phono..
Pioneer PLX500 have inbuilt phono pre also, did you switch it off before pluging to marantz phono. pls check.
Also Check ur cartidge lid wire both side headshel side and cartidge body side (if any loose thereof).
Try Pioneer PLX500 inbuilt phono with marantz any of their audio input port.
Check the stylus tip is it in proper shape or worn..
