Before you made the purchase What Difference did you find between Onkyo TX-SR607 7.2- and Denon 1610 5.1 in the output sound for the same speakers?

Have you selected any Display screen?

You can set the required speakers as "None" in te AVR and test the rest which are set as "Yes".... or simply unplug the fronts and test the center...

Onkyo 607 was impressive and the features of onkyo were great too. I choose denon based on the reviews. The video upscaling feature of denon 1910 influenced my decision. It was reviewed to be simply great. 1610 does not have video upscaling. I didnt have an opportunity to audition all three receivers with the same speakers.

My room is not big enough for a projector. I am currently using sony bravia 32" LCD.

Upgrading to better DVDp/BDP lator will make huge difference.

I just bought a Phillps 3886 for Rs. 4900 based on great reviews. I am positive that the sony bravia is defective as the picture quality from TATASKY+ wasnt all that great. I am still waiting for a resolution from Sony on this.
