AVR Hdmi 1.3a and passive 3D

Hi guys, guess this is the right section to post this question, recently I am planning to get a used Avr. I like it's specs but the only thing I am worried is that it is Hdmi 1.3a compatible and not the later 1.4a. I have a 55 inch passive 3d led and I am afraid the avr would be a bottleneck. Is Hdmi 1.4 a necessity for passive 3d as well? Please advise.
