Replacing the tweeter itself is not difficult at all. Usually the wires connecting to the tweeter from the cross-over will be just pressure fit sliding design, so connecting the new tweeter is a matter of undoing a few phillips head screws or allen bolts, sliding out the cross over wires from the damaged tweeter and sliding it into the new tweeter. Some designs may have soldered connections then you have to solder the cross over wires.
Getting the tweeter may prove more challenging, but you should be able to import if the local dealers do not cooperate.

Check with the local indian dealer if he will get the part for you or contact the NA or even the european service ctr. and see if they can ship it to you.
Tweeters are recommended to be replaced in pairs so that they match, but it may prove expensive.

Don't panic. Unless, there is physical damage to the tweeter, check if the problem is with the crossover or if some solder or wire has come loose. Swapping the tweeters might give you an idea. You can also check for continuity with a multimeter or a 1.5 volt battery to check if tweeter is alright.
