Target : Audition an AudioNote entry level system + Visit AudioVision for B&W
Date : 6th Feb 2019

Time : 2 AM
Alarm rings, wake up and get ready to go to the airport. Drive of 1.5 hrs to reach the airport, collect a fellow FM in between

Time : 4:30 AM
Reached the Bangalore airport, parked the car and headed towards the checkin and securty counters

Time : 6:00 AM
Boarded the flight to Mumbai. Landed in Mumbai at 7:30 AM, freshen up at the airport

Time : 8:00 AM
Get an Uber from the airport to Fort Mumbai (location of AudioNote office), drive on the Sealink (very minimal traffic). Arrived at Fort (Kitab Mahal building) at 8:30. Headed for breakfast at Cafe Excelsior, had authentic Kheema Pav and coffee.

Time : 10:00 AM
Reached the AudioNote office to meet Mr. Aernaud Dekker. Had a meeting for 30 min and then proceeded to the demo room few blocks away.

Time : 11:00 AM - 12:00PM
Demo at AudioNote. The experience was wow. Something different, unlike the other setups that we had listened to (B&W, Triangle, KEF, Dali, Monitor Audio, Image, Musical Fidelity, Cambridge Audio, Denon).
The demo system involved the AZ-2 hemp speakers + OTO PP amplifier + AudioNote Turntable. Listened to Vinyl and Cd's. After this demo dropped the idea of listening to the B&W speakers at AudioVision (which is located in the same building).

Time : 12:30 PM
Walked back to Kitab Mahal for some Vinyl shopping at Royal Music Collection. Saw one of the largest (after the HMV store in HK :))and rare Vinyl collection here. Met another FM there shopping for vinyl. A must visit place for vinyl lovers. Mr. Abdul is very knowledgeable and stocks a huge variety of music. Got the "Jagjit Singh live at royal albert hall" and 10 other vinyls.

Time: 1:30 PM
Took an Uber to Colaba. Destination Cafe Mondegar for lunch there after headed over to Yazdhani Bakery for some Irani sytle bakery products

Time : 3:00PM
Took an Uber to Lamington road. Had a walk thru Lamington Road and Grant road in search of audio amplifier parts

Time : 3:30PM
Took an Uber to Parsi Dairy Farm for some more shopping of food products

Time : 4:30 PM

Took and Uber to Mahim, destination Revolver club for some more vinyl shopping

Time : 6:30 PM
Waiting for a Uber to Bandra (destination: Candies), no Uber for an 1hr and the mad Mumbai traffic.

Time : 7:30
Still waiting for an Uber so now decided to head back to the airport as we had a flight at 10PM

Time : 12AM
Landed in Bangalore and reached back home at 2AM

... and then after 2 days placed an order for the AudioNote system (an upgrade from my previous setup) AZ-3 speakers + cables + OTO PP amplifier

Congratulations! Am sure you will enjoy AN system to the fullest :)
What is your source? Maybe down the line plan for AN DAC and then a transport (CD/TT)
