Bass gadgets in the works?

Its almost similar to transcuders or plain meaning 'bass shakers'. I have two bass shakers 50 rms each attached underneath my home sofa set and the feeling is great. Its a big bass feel. Almost similar I guess. Any one having an idea about it. Looks like portable transcuders.
