beating 20k with2k device movie+music

Beating 20k double din with a 2k tab,
This is for for parents .
They wanted a usb player /mmc player that can play music.

Native car has cdp with amp 40W x4
instead of buying ear pinching cheap mp3 system in <3k
how about a tab 5incher with capacitive screen.?

Components needed
*5incher tab in ~2k,capacitive screen
*3,5 MM CABLE,usb cable
*tiny 5v charger
*5inch tab attachment

Most basic 2din systems provide touch screen+amp with horrible low res screen.
Most of the time touch is resistive so sluggish.
People spend 20k for them

My Tab idea will play videos too in a much better way,mini tab can be used for net +
Some other things.Many tabs sale in 2k if u import

A 2k Tab would not have:

1. Amplifier to drive 4 speakers. 2-DIN system would come with a 50 W amplifier
2. Would have pathetic D2A for audio out via headphone jack
3. Would not be able to handle even high-bitrate VBR MP3s

well u read the use case it seems 2 work,old player has amp also aux.
those people who dont have amp can go for this Car Audio Amplifier Board 50W*4
just add a volume and put in a box.

yes DA will be little soso..but most tabs today have standard DA in built in soc
like the tabs with Allwinner A13,SQ nearing mp3 player will be very fine.

can someone point to A13 processor DAC part

low cost tab like jxd tab (example) should do till flac see

DAC is not part of SOC since it takes too much current. For example in S3, both DAC and AMP chips are physically separate.

that is for 37k phone! dedicated dac amp for quality.

allwinner A1x series has in built dac and amp,to cut costs.after all 2.5k tab cant have extra dac outside soc due to cost.this pic says

The idea is good. Wanna take it it a step further and have fully functional GPS and TV out for a screen for ppl behind. Have checked the mitashi as it does offer GPS and hdmi out. With an amplifier is the sound satisfactory?. I already have tested the GPS on my Samsung tab and it works really well with no internet. If the sound is good then I shall definetly go ahead and put this in my car.


Just got confirmation that the mitashi won't support GPS so Samsung tab it will be.

The Samsung Tab i already have. New one costs 19.5k though i wanna test mitashi(6300) on my own. It should work. Sales Guys dont know anything. Have not got the time.

Also Another idea is to use the android phone for the same like a remote. buy screens for display as tv out is there .
