Hi All,
I have been tearing my hair over the last month or more on what projector to buy and finally zeroed in on the BenQ MX520.
Its got some basic features like. ....
3000 ANSI Lumens and 13000:1 contrat ratio. Hoping that it will be OK in my hall with 2 large windows and a door(off course will keep them closed most of the time)
The lamp life is 4000 hours and 6500 hours(Eco-Mode).
I dont own a BlueRay player or a 3D PC/laptop so no question of 3D content.
Planning to connect my Tata Sky HD box so that i can watch HD content (Cricket matches or movies). I occasionally watch movies on my HD media player. The projector has a native resolution of 1024x768 Pixels.
I have contacted one of the BenQ dealer here in Hyderabad & has quoted a price of 31.5K + Taxes. So with the screen i can get the entire setup for less than 40K. This is my max budget.
So considering my budget and viewing preferences is this a good choice or are there any better alternatives.
Help/Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Have a safe & happy Diwali. :yahoo:
