Hi,

I have selected some center speakers for my Pioneer 920 AVR.

Wharfedale WH2 Centre
Wharfedale Atlantic Centre GE
Polk Audio CS 10 Center Speaker

I will be using mostly for movies. I have the best Dialogue delivery

Thanx

@Kaptan, on a lighter note, only rajanikant has the best dialog delivery mechanism.... :D

Why are you leaving the MS center speaker out since you already have the Carnival 6, did you look a the specs of Carnival 5?

ya I saw the specs its only upto 90 watts power. my receiver is 110 wats perr channel.

it is not i have but i want

Generally speaking, the Center should be matched to the fronts, so the Carnival is prolly best.

I'd go with what Viki says...front and centers should match in their timbre else you might find some difference in the pitching. Since the fronts and center get almost 90% of the audio signals in a movie, you would find it very irritating if it is prominent.

Go with the same family of speakers as your fronts. If this is not possible, you might want to audition the centers with your fronts which again is not a very easy thing to do always.

I would not worry too much about the power ratings but do keep an eye on the sensitivity in case you are mixing the speakers but then again most of the good AVRs today can adjust the volume levels by themselves.

go for WHARFEDALE DIAMOND 10.CM CENTRE SPEAKER if you can get best Dialogue delivery....

i have carnival fronts, waiting for carnival center (black) to be available, to replace my onkyo fronts.pranab had only the calvados color available.

if you cannot wait then Cambridge Audio Sirocco S50 Center is an option, according to the ebay seller
giga the Drivers & Technology used in Carnival & S series is all together same. Even the design & finishing of both are resembling.
